STEM-tastic in Our 1st Grade Class:
I believe it is important to introduce my students to the 21st Century skills that will be required of them in future careers. Students will have the opportunity to develop into critical thinkers and creative problem solvers by engaging in STEM learning experiences. STEM will be integrated into our daily learning experiences to promote a student-driven process and future-ready learning.

Our Classroom Makerspace:
Our classroom makerspace is a special place where students will have an opportunity to create a product to solve a problem. Students will work collaboratively with peers to come up with real life solutions to problems or project requirements. They will follow an engineering design process to plan, build, evaluate, reflect, and redesign. The class makerspaces will house the tools, resources and materials needed to create, build, problem solve and explore.
